About the Authors:
Michael Bond, born on 13 January 1926 in Newbury, Berkshire, was not only a prolific writer but also served in the Royal Air Force and the British Army. His remarkable career includes 19 years as a cameraman for BBC TV. In recognition of his significant contributions to children's literature, Michael was awarded a CBE in 2015, adding to the OBE he received in 1997.

Karen Jankel has also played a crucial role in continuing the legacy of Paddington Bear.
